Conditioners today are designed to offer one main benefit like moisturise, smoothen, strengthen, or volumise. So, you have to figure out what your primary hair concern is and identify the conditioner that is appropriate for your hair type.

This table will help you to do that.

Since each conditioner only provides one benefit, you will need to use more than one product to achieve multiple goals, such as a leave-in or deep conditioner or a styling product.

For example, if you have damaged hair and want hair volume, then you could use a smoothening conditioner to address the damage with a styling product to create volume. Or if you have dry and damaged hair, it could be recommended that you use a smoothening conditioner to address the damage with a deep conditioner to address the dryness. .

That’s how you would choose a conditioner today and what most experts will advise you to do.

The question then is why can’t you just have one conditioner to do it all? Why does it have to be so complicated that advice is needed to choose a conditioner? The reason is that the ingredients that are used to provide benefits like smoothening can weigh the hair down and work against benefits like hair volume. Hence, many experts will not recommend using smoothening conditioners on hair that is fine for fear of weighing it down.

This is the part that is new.  After many years of research, we have found that an optimal ratio of ingredients that coat and penetrate your hair strands can achieve multiple benefits of hydrating and smoothening your hair, controlling frizz, enhancing shine and even providing volume! You don’t need to choose a  conditioner and you don’t need deep or leave-in conditioners. The best part…. it probably achieves each single function better too.

The results demonstrate the benefits of the Kyra Hair Definer.
